To reach readers as a medium, you have to use social media. They allow you to distribute your content to a large number of people. Anyone can do it, and it’s free. But a lot has changed on social media in the last few years.

Post on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter)… became problematic. You’ll find out why later in the article. So that you can see all the news without filtering, Besides Telegram, I decided also to launch a newsletter on WhatsApp. It brings you the news instantly to your phone. Free of charge, of course.

After the function was available exclusively in Telegram, Meta has now activated Whatsapp channels in Europe. It took a while but now it is available to me

Why A Newsletter In The Age Of Facebook, X…?

The answer is simple: the algorithm. If you post on Facebook, X (former Twitter), your boss is the algorithm. He decides how many people the message is distributed to. With 200, 2000, or 20,000 followers, your message will never reach the same amount of users.

To combat this problem, some media outlets pay to distribute their posts to more people. That’s not the long-term solution either. For this reason, I created this newsletter service on Whatsapp to offer you new ways to access the news without algorithm filtering.

You can subscribe to the newsletter via this link. With this, you will always receive a push message when there is something new from the Synth Anatomy world, including the latest synth news, reviews, deals, live blogs from tradeshows, and much more.

There will also be future exclusive giveaways. And I will expand the newsletter to Instagram and WhatsApp when the functions are available.

It is also important to mention that it remains purely a newsletter. Comments remain switched OFF because I want a safe space without trolls, attacks, etc. Facebook, YouTube, etc., are enough for me.

I look forward to welcoming you to the Synth Anatomy Whatsapp newsletter.

      • Understandable. It’s just that for me Whatsapp is entirely for personal connection, not groups. It’s just too disorganized beyond 5 or so people I do appreciate the idea of not going the way of algorithmic social media, because it’s so abnoxious and tends to put the wrong people in the same room.

Anyway, if someone here knows of a good, pleasant, Discord channel to join that caters to electronic instruments, please let me know. 🙂

        • I don’t see your name, phone number or anything from you in the group or even in the backend of the group. Whatsapp doesn’t give me details about the subscribers. It’s just a newsletter on your phone. No communication with others or so 🙂

  1. Nice, but I will keep following you on your website, not on Whatsapp. Honestly, I shy away from any system that pushes information towards me, instead of myself choosing my moments to read. That is my personal choice of course, and I congratulate you on offering your readers that choice.
