Studio Electronics EXT Box Multi-Function Controller For The SE-02 Is Available Now!

Studio Electronics EXT Box external controller expands the Roland SE-02 analog Synthesizer with new features, inputs/outputs & more. It’s available now!

Studio Electronics had quietly introduced at NAMM 2018 an external controller for the Roland SE-02 analog Synthesizer. The new EXT Box gives owners of the SE-02 a variable high-pass filter with drive control, an interface to 1/4 connection world, a secondary CV input and more. Another feature is that it comes with a big cutoff knob for smooth or sharp articulated sweeps.

The company has announced this week that the EXT Box is available now from the official Studio Electronics shop.

Overview

Designed specifically for the SE-02, the EXT Box is a multi-function external controller, an 1/8″ to 1/4″ converter, offering high CV resolution filter frequency control (with a full-sized knob), a drive-adjustable hi-pass filter with attenuation, rich overdrive and potent boost, expanded external input control, and expressive gate triggering, for external signal/sample manipulation. Ships 9.21.18
