GForce Software’s ChamberTron is a plugin inspired by the tape replay keyboard from Harry Chamberlin. Initially only available as an expansion for the MTron Pro plugin for PC and Mac is now also available as independent rack extension for Reason. It features thirty five tape banks with different instruments like: accordion, clarinet, flute, hawaiian guitar, mandolin and more.
ChamberTron RE is not a simple recreation of this instrument but goes further. The clever and easy-to-use interface allows you to layer two different sounds together and create a lot of different sounds.
Inspired by the tape replay keyboard originally invented by Harry Chamberlin in the 1950s, which, via a fascinating twist of fate, gave rise to the Mellotron®. ChamberTron-RE provides a highly evocative set of sounds within an easy to use and carefully crafted Rack Extension.
