Applied Acoustics Systems released this week an excellent update for their Objeq Delay, a plugin that works completely different than usual delay plugins. With the help of different objects (plate, beam, drumhead, string), you include acoustic resonances to the input signal. This form very nicely the character of your signal and with additional shaping possibilities via a low- and high-pass filter, you can even design deeper your sounds. This blocks goes than you a delay section where you can use it in series or split it. With this additional feature, you can design quite complex sound structures from textures to rhythmic patterns. On top, you get a complete LFO module with different modulation destinations (filter, resonator, delay parameters).
