In recent months, Arturia has completely revamped its KeyStep line, except for the Pro version. We got a 32-key version at the end of 2025, followed by a 37-key Mk2 in February of this year.
The original KeyStep Mk1, introduced at NAMM in 2016 and a long-running success, has been discontinued since the release of the MK2 generation. However, some units are still available. Gear4Music is currently offering the Arturia KeyStep 32 Mk1 at a 51% discount.

The KeyStep 32 (Mk1) was officially released after NAMM 2016 for 119€. That was 10 years ago—how time flies! It was a huge success for the company but also brought something unique to the table: a MIDI & CV keyboard with a built-in step sequencer at an affordable price.
Now the last units need to leave the warehouses to make room for others. Gear4Music has put together a deal to buy the Arturia KeyStep Mk1 for just £49,99/57,90€, 51% less than its original price. That’s even less than the Behringer clone, which is currently priced at 77€.
For 57,90€, you get a great MIDI/CV keyboard controller with velocity and aftertouch and a polyphonic sequencer.

Deal Or Not
The Arturia KeyStep 32 has been a faithful companion in my studio and on the go for 10 years, so at the current price it’s definitely a deal. Yes, the MK2 generation offers many more features, but is also somewhat less hands-on than the Mk1 devices.
The Mk1 also features micro USB, which is certainly a relic of the past. If you can live with that and want a very affordable keyboard with a sequencer, this is an unbeatable price. So good, in fact, that even heavily-used second-hand devices are often more expensive.
