Ultimate Patches has released a new patch library for the Behringer UB-1 Micro, an Oberheim-style analog synthesizer, featuring 100 new sounds.
Last December, Behringer released the UB-1 Micro Synthesizer and opened orders to dealers. It’s been over six months now, and the synth is still not regularly available. Some pre-orders have already been shipped.
For those who already own the UB-1, there’s now a new library of sounds from Ultimate Sounds.
Ultimate Patches Behringer UB-1 Micro
The new preset library features 100 all-new patches for the Behringer UB-1 Micro. As a reminder, the UB-1 Micro is a 59€ Oberheim Matrix-inspired analog monophonic Synthesizer.
According to UP, Behringer UB-1 users get classic sounds from the past, present, and future. The three-volume set spans genres from 70s, 80s & 90s synth classics to cinematic, orchestral, hip-hop, pop, vaporwave, retrocade, and much more.
You can find soaring leads, thumping basses, paraphonic polys, strings, brass, percussion, and FX. There are also non-synth instruments like electric guitars and basses, acoustic pianos, Wurlitzer electric pianos, voices, and more.
The patches can be transferred to the hardware using the Behringer SynthTribe program.
First Impression
Based on the sound demos, you get a library with lovely sounds for the UB-1 Micro. It also showcases how beautiful the latest micro-synth sounds are.
