Superbooth 2026: SBRK Devices Zerua Nahasi is a new polyphonic granular Synthesizer for Eurorack with four independent stereo granular engines.
I already reported at Machina Bristronica 2025 on a new granular synthesizer/sampler for Eurorack called Zerua Nahasi from the new developer SBRK Devices
The module is now complete, and the final details are available.
SBRK Devices Zerua Nahasi Final Details
Zerua Nashasi is a new 30HP polyphonic granular Synthesizer/sampler for the Eurorack format. It features four stereo granular engines (varispeed, stretching…) that can be used independently or in combination.
You have two options for bringing in sounds: sampling in stereo in the module, or loading samples from a microSD card. Each granular engine can use the same or different samples as a source for granulation.
The granular engine is fully tweakable with various hardware controls or via CV control or built-in randomization: grain position, grain length, density, pitch/speed, envelope shape, and stereo image.
Neat, if you activate the live mode, you can also use SBRK Devices Zerua Nahasi as a granular delay in live mode.
The engine also includes a stereo convolution reverb with built-in impulse responses of Barcelona’s most iconic spaces, and the ability to load custom IRs from the SD card.
A very interesting granular processor for Eurorack. However, the module isn’t suitable for skiff racks, as shown on the back panel. Nevertheless, it looks like a fun granular synth.
SBRK Devices Zerua Nahasi is available soon. You can explore it at Superbooth 2026 this week.

Barcelona is a beautiful city with many sights to see. It’s also home to many Eurorack manufacturers, including Befaco. The community has grown with the addition of another young company.
SBRK Devices stopped by the Bristronica 2025 event to introduce Zerua Nahasi, a new granular module for Eurorack
SBRK Devices Zerua Nahasi
In the past, we would have done a lot to have granular synths or processors in the Eurorack format. Technology has evolved, and today we have numerous modules from various companies, each with a different concept.
Zerua Nashasi is the latest granular synth/processor for the modular world. SBRK Devices Zerua Nahasi is a 30HP module and houses four stereo granular engines. Each engine can hold over 20 seconds of audio in the internal buffer.
Audio can be introduced via the stereo input (two 3.5mm mono jacks) or the front-panel microSD reader. Then, the engine can be used with live audio (audio input) or with pre-recorded material (samples from the input or SD).
Once loaded, you can granulate each sample independently. There are multiple granulation modes available to choose from: varispeed, paulstretch, and more to come.
Neat, there is an onset/transient detection onboard, making it easy to find the right spots. Plus, you get built-in pitch quantization.
You can tweak each engine with classic granular parameters such as length, density, shape, position, pitch/speed, envelope, and more.
Engine Combinations
Alongside the independent granular processing, it’s also possible to sync the four engines and combine them in various ways. For example, there is an Xfade knob, allowing you to step/morph through the four granular processes.
Another key feature of the SBRK Devices Zerua Nahasi module is the integrated convolution reverb that shapes the sound at the end of the signal chain, so a global effect. It ships with various impulse responses but you can also load your own IRs from SD card.
Of course, you can also manipulate parameters with CV control. Parameters such as volume pitch/speed and position have CV control for all four layers, while others only have a global one, Plus, you can infuse randomization into the engines.
First Impression
I’ve been following the development of the Zerua Nahasi module for some time, as it keeps popping up in my timeline. It’s nice to see it’s almost finished. It looks like a very lovely, hands-on granular processor.
SBRK Devices Zerua Nahasi will be available by the end of the year or early 2026. Final price TBA.
