Superbooth 2026: Korg NTS-4 Mixer is a new performance mixer kit wit FX in the Nu:Tekt DIY lineup.
Korg has no official news for Superbooth 2026. However, they are dropping teasers in several places—most notably, the mysterious Synthesizer hidden beneath a plastic sheet.
Alongside this, they also tease a new member in the NTS series. At Superbooth 2026, Korg is previewing the NTS-4 Mixer, a new performance mixer in their Nu:Tekt series,
Korg NTS-4 Mixer
The new NTS-4 Mixer is a new compact, 10-channel performance-oriented analog mixer designed for today’s hardware setups.
It features four stereo minijack inputs and two Eurorack-compatible mono minijack inputs. I prefer full-size jack connectors, like those on the Zoom L6; however, for compact synths, the smaller 3.5mm jacks should also work.
Each channel offers control over the level, send, and pan, plus buttons for cue and mute.
NTS Effects
A highlight of the new Korg NTS-4 mixer is its built-in dual stereo FX processor with per-channel effects. Correct: according to Korg, they aren’t based on the SDK Mk2 but are fixed.
You can control them with two parameters: FX type and FX depth. On the right side, you have controls for the headphone level, USB-audio, cue balance, and the main output.
The NTS-4 Mixer is not only an analog mixer with digital FX, but also a USB-MIDI and audio interface. You have a MIDI output socket on a TRS 3.5mm jack, allowing you to route MIDI data, in case you are using it on a computer or mobile setup.
Like the previous NTS products, the Korg will only be available as a DIY kit
First Impression
At first glance, an exciting portable mixer for mobile setups. I don’t think I would give up my Zoom L6 for this one, though because of big jacks.
Korg Mixer in the Nu:Tekt lineup will be available soon. Price and availability TBA.

Do you think the FX are much better than the Zoom L6 ones (which are not so great)
there are based on the SDK so other developer can create Korg plugins for it
Wait, didn’t you state that they are NOT based in the SDK mk2, and that the FX are fixed? I took you to mean that you cannot upload your own FX like the NTS:1, NTS:3, minilogue XD, etc…
Korg contacted me to say that they are not based on the SDK, sorry
Yes, especially the Sinevibes ones that are available for that platform.
sorry you can’t change them
That’s odd – one of the Korg guys at Superbooth said you could use Sinevibes and other plugins with them.
If not then will pass on this one.
apparently not. The Korg contacted me that it’s not the case
The Zoom L6 is not only a mixer but also multitrack recorder and multichannel audio interface. So you can’t really compare this two devices.
well I don’t compare it but ask me if I would swap it for it
Would you swap your NTS-4 for an L6?
I don’t have the NTS-4, but the NTS-5 😉
Touché! 🤺
