UVI Sparkverb 1.5 is a free update to its versatile algorithmic reverb plugin, featuring an all-new UI and a redone preset library.
In December, UVI released a great free update for its Sparkverb algorithmic reverb.
Now everyone can enjoy this reverb plugin. KVR Audio Forum is giving away the plugin for a limited time. You need to take some easy steps.
First, you need to be a member of the KVR Audio. If you are not, simply sign up for a free account. Once done, simply fill out the entry form to enter and receive your free copy of UVI Sparkverb.
An access code will be emailed to you from the KVR Marketplace. Once issued, it is also available from the ‘Marketplace Orders’ section within your KVR account settings. Licenses are issued manually, so please allow for up to 48 hours after entry to receive yours.
This giveaway is valid until 12th of April, 2026. It runs as a VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin on macOS (native Apple Silicon + Intel) and Windows. It requires a software iLok account to register the license.

There was a time before my website existed. I realize that with this news item. Sparkverb is a beautiful-sounding algorithmic reverb that was released back in 2013. That was 12 years ago, and the plugin is still there and being maintained.
Now, excellent news. UVI has released Sparkverb 1.5, another free update for its reverb plugin that puts on new clothes and more.
UVI Sparkverb 1.5
Sparkverb 1.5 is a free update that introduces a completely redesigned interface, which more closely matches the look of today’s UVI plugins. According to UVI, it also matches the aesthetic and workflow refinements introduced with their Bloom reverb.
To me, it looks more streamlined and more straightforward to use. In addition, Sparkverb 1.5 includes an updated factory preset library with 50 new presets, including some from Venus Theory.
They offer a broader palette of ready-to-use reverbs – ideal for mixing, sound design, and cinematic atmospheres.
The core of Sparkverb 1.5 remains untouched and delivers the same wide range of reverbs from natural rooms to infinite shimmering ambiences with efficient CPU usage in mind. You can still use the frequency-based spectral editor to craft the perfect reverb sound.
One of the highlights of the plugin, the preset voyager feature that allows you to morph between presets, is still on board. Same as the randomization/mutation features, freeze, modulation, and more.
First Impression
Releasing such an update after 12 years, and for free on top, is very welcome. Thank you, UVI. I hope Sparkverb for iOS also gets this new UI.
UVI Sparkverb 1.5 is a free update for existing users. To celebrate the release, Sparkverb and Bloom are available at a special price of $39 / 39€ each (regularly $79 / 79€) through December 15th, 2025. It’s also part of the SonicPass subscription and SonicBundle.
