Superbooth 2025: Intellijel introduced two new products: Jellymix, a 5-channel desktop mixer, and Swells, a stereo reverb module for Eurorack.

When Intellijel released the Multigrain stereo granular module in mid-April, it was assumed this would be the only news for Superbooth 2025. Wrong! Intellijel showed not one but two other new products.

At Superbooth 2025, Intellijel unveiled the Jellymix desktop mixer and Swells stereo reverb module.

Intellijel Jellymix

Intellijel Jellymix

Jellymix is a new 5-channel desktop stereo mixer. Each channel features gain and level controls and a tilt EQ, allowing quick tone adjustments. Channel 1 can also be used as a Hi-Z input.

Then, each channel comes with a switchable high-pass filter perfect for cleaning up the bass range. A highlight is that each channel also has two stereo AUX sends. They can be switched between pre- and post-fader. Plus, the corresponding returns are also in stereo sockets.

On the right side, the Intellijel Jellymix has a mixer master section with high- and low-pass filters with resonance, the latter of which can be assigned to the filters as desired. This is an interesting filter configuration, so you could also achieve DJ-style filter effects.

For each channel, you can choose whether the signal goes directly to the main output or first through the filter section.

The Intellijel Jellymix also hosts a separate mute bus. For routing duties, each channel has a switch that removes the signal from the main mix and routes it to the mute bus. This can be assigned to the headphone output.

Intellijel Swells

The second new Superbooth 2025 announcement is Swells, a new stereo reverb module. It’s based on the Multigrain and Sealegs modules’ reverb algorithms (blur & fog) but expanded with real-time controls. Plus, they added seven other unique algorithms, sorted in different, selectable groupings: lush, haze, and void

It includes various lush halls, shimmer reverbs with weird pitch shifting, modulated delays, and diffusion network-based types.

The module gives you control over the predelay, size, decay, dampening, and more. Each algorithm also comes with a macro control called “flow”. There is also a tilt EQ for shaping your reverbs. Plus, you can find a triggerable freeze function, a reverse and a lo-fi option.

A unique feature of the Intellijel Swell module is the built-in envelope follower that can modulate all the reverb parameters. It’s designed to create sidechain effects like ducking and more.

Intellijel 7U Case (2025)

Plus, they announced a new version of their 7U case with a switchable 1U row in the bottom, mid, or top position. It no longer has latches on the side. There is a custom design slot, so the lid just fits into that. It also has a new power supply with higher power capacity and lower noise.

As a bonus, it has a VESA mount and eight I/O jacks on the back. Lastly, the legs are now made of glass-filled nylon.

First Impression

The new Intellijel products from Superbooth 2025 look very exciting. My favorite is the reverb, which sounds great in the demo. I’m excited to see the first tests. We’ll have to wait and see the price tag for the mixer, which also looks neat.

Prices and availability of the Intellijel Jellymix mixer, Swells reverb modules, and the 7U 2025 case are TBA. All the products are prototypes, but are almost ready for production.
