Superbooth 2025: Befaco unveiled new 1U modules for pedal integration, including the new Pedal Pow, Pedal S-R, and Phono amp modules.
Pedals and Eurorack modules have much in common: they’re equally fascinating, and you can’t get enough of them. However, integrating pedals into the modular world can lead to obstacles. For example, Eurorack synths have no line levels unless you have an interface module.
At Superbooth 2025, the Barcelona-based company unveiled new 1U modules for pedal integration in modular synths.
Befaco Pedal Pow, Pedal S-R and Phono Amp
Befaco is once again expanding its 1U range. These Befaco pedal integration 1U modules can be screwed into any Eurorack case with a 1U row. They fit particularly well in the Befaco 7U case for combining with pedals.
The Pedal Pow is a new power supply module that gives you two 500mA of juice for at least two modules. With an extension cable, you can certainly connect more pedals if they do not exceed 500mA.
Then, the Befaco Pedal S-R is another new 1U module that offers a stereo send and return interface with switchable line/instrument and line/hi-z levels and a dedicated leveler.
Number 3 and the last is the Phono Amp, a new pre-amp module connecting your vinyl player to your modular synth. It has a stereo phono (black/red) input, a stereo output (L/R) on Eurorack level, and a mono sum. Plus, you can switch between phone and line level and get a dedicated gain control.
First Impression
Nice little modules that simplify pedal integration.
The price and the release date for the new Befaco Pedal Pow, Pedal S-R, and Phono Amp module are TBA. According to the developers, they will be cheap, and they estimate a release at the end of Summer.
